The leading actor Randeep Hooda belongs to a Jat family. He was born in a village named Jassia in the Rohtak district of Haryana. Randeep’s father, Mr. Hooda, is a surgeon whereas his mother, Asha Hooda, is an innovative social worker. Randeep completed his schooling from Sonipat and New Delhi. The star went to Melbourne, Australia for higher education. Randeep has pursued Marketing for his graduation and Business Management and Human Resource Management for his post graduation.
Randeep’s stay in Australia helped him significantly in his acting career struggle. His Australian roommates helped him to bag the role of an NRI in his leading debut film ‘Monsoon Wedding’. Four years later to the scene, Randeep played the lead role in gangster film ‘D’. D was directed by Ram Gopal Verma. However, the film did not received commercial success but Randeep got highly noticed for his sparkling acting talent.
Thereafter, the actor was starred in the number of films. The movies couldn’t do well for commercial profits, but they really helped Hooda evolve as a performer. Randeep has acted in films like ‘Risk’, Darna Zaroori Hai’, ‘Rang Rasiya’, ‘Ru Ba Ru’ and ‘Karma Aur Holi.’ A few of them have failed to make their image at the box office.
Hooda then played a role of an ACP in superhit film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’. The hit movie won many nominations at important ceremonies and several awards. The movie paved the way for more offers for the actor. Randeep’s next film ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’ earned many nominations in various categories and got a favorable response from the critics. Hooda was also featured in the movies lke ‘Jannat 2’ and ‘Cocktail’ and ‘Murder’.
Besides films, Randeep Hooda came into the limelight because of his relationship with Sushmita Sen, with whom he eventually broke up. Since long he is with actress Neetu Chandra, the girl who ignited the controversies with her lesbian pics. Reports say that the couple is planning to tie the knot soon.
