Some of the findings of the study that were explained by the Co-Author of the study Dr. Benjamin Litternberg are listed
- Peppers tend to reduce the amount of inflammation that a body usually has
- Deaths owing to heart attack, strokes, and vascular tissues were the lowest in the sample that consumed more pepper
- There has been a significant fall in death rate
There was also a study conducted on approximately 500,000 Chinese in the span of seven years. It astonished everyone when it was revealed that people who had spicy food three times a week had a lower risk of mortality. If figures were to be stated, then people consuming pepper three times a week lowered the risk of death by 14 percent.
Although all these revelations talk a lot in favor of red hot chili peppers, yet Dr. Litternberg doesn’t want to comment on its concreteness. He says that more studies would take place to come to a conclusion that can be proved in more concrete manner.
Only relying on peppers for a healthy lifestyle is not the best option. There are more ways of leading a life that makes you free from diseases and increases your longevity.
