Know the most beautiful horse in the world, Akhal Teke:
We all are animal lovers in some or the other way. This love is seen when we explore the many species we see either on Animal Planet or while we explore Mother Earth.
It is an awe-striking truth that we do not even know half of these creatures that we come across and trust me there is a dozen more available out there just for you to explore. So if you take just one animal at a time and start with the mighty horse; you would definitely imagine a black or a brown horse galloping towards you in an open huge field.
You may also find a white horse if you are in the western open fields. But all these horses are just some ordinary look that you will agree to once you have a look at the Akhal Teke breed. Yes, you read that right – Akhal Teke is a metallic skin colored horse which hails from the Turkmenistan. It may sound a little unnatural but this is no sci-fi movie that we are talking about these animals do exist.
These Akhal Teke horses are a national treasure from Turkmenistan and are now also seen in Asia and China known as Golden horses and horses from heaven respectively. They have a great streak of surviving in the cold and extreme climates and have lightning speed, intelligence, and endurance. They have a clear significance from their shiny coat which lustrously reflects the light when they gallop.
The normal horses do not shine like the Akhal Teke and there is a reason behind it. The structure of the hair follicles of these horses is different from the other horses. The hair strands of these horses are not opaque as that of the normal horses which help to take up more space and capture light making the Akhal Teke shine as bright as a star.
These rare breeds are popular around the world and there are just 6600 Akhal Teke horses on the Planet Earth as per the 2012 survey; most of which are found in Russia and the home country Turkmenistan. As this is a rare and prized possession for the government of Turkmenistan; they tend to gift these animals to other countries as a sign of diplomacy. It is an honor for the other countries to own such a rare and exquisite breed.
It is really a delight to see such unique animals as a part of our environment and makes us remember that Mother Nature has loads to offer which we have not even explored yet and will learn slowly and gradually. And for the animal lovers who are not able to take time off and go to see these rare exquisites in person; they can do so by searching for them online.
